A few Points to note for classic insurance...

    1. You need to be over 25 in most cases'.
    2. You need to have a Full Licence.
    3. You need to have another car which is your daily driver with your own policy on it.
    4. The car itself needs to be over 25 years old

Thats just the start of it anyway and there are usually more "Terms and Conditions"!

Not trying to deter you eoghan but at 17 yrs old...even if a company agreed to insure you, you may as well bend over, tip your toes and start singin' Starry Starry Night 'cos your going to get shafted

The insurance thing isn't going to happen for you I'm afraid, I've been there.

That is a lovely car seems to be in great condition, if I were you I'd hang on to it if you have the space and you can tinker/repair it. If you haven't got room/time let it go, in a few years you'll be able to get whatever (within reason!) you want.
