Limerick bus service resumes after strike

Bus passengers in Limerick were left without a service this morning due to an unofficial stoppage by drivers.

Full services resumed after 10.30am after discussions with union representatives.

There were no city, provincial or inter-city services leaving the Limerick depot from 7am, Bus Éireann confirmed.

The company had not received "any formal information" from workers indicating what the problem was, he added.
