Just a little story about this shop, I emailed the shop during the week to see if they had the following lense in stock:

    Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro DG

I received an email back asking what mount (canon) I was after, They then confirmed they had plenty in stock as it was a popular lense, I explained that I would be travelling up from Galway to buy the lense (I have one4all vouchers) and would I need to get one held, He replyed that there was no need as they had loads in stock (can you tell where this is going?), as it turned out a mate from kildare was popping into dublin to buy a camera and he said he would get it for me (I posted him the vouchers). He popped into the shop today only to be told that they have not had that lense in stock for weeks and wont have it back for ages! My mate rang me and went back and asked for tony (the guy I emailed) he wasnt there and he was told yet again that they simply dont have this lense in stock. After this he decided not buy his 30D +17-85mm in that shop.

Im seriously pissed off with them, I can only imagine how long my jail sentence would have been after smashing the shop up if I had drove from galway to dublin to be told that it wasnt in stock.

I had never even heard of this shop untill I seen them on the one4all website, What a joke.

Anyone else deal with them? are they always this stupid?

I have dealt with them before - both the grafton st one and the square one. Never had a problem with them apart from sometimes not a great selection.

Have you spoken to a manager about that ? I would explain the situation to them because that sounds totally out of order. That has got to be a case of one member of staff causing problems and not indicative of the overall store policy (going from my experience with them) - I would make sure that the store manager knew about it.

As far as I know that shop stocks everything in some central place that all the shops get their orders from.
Anytime I've rang about stuff they say it takes 3 or so days to get it in.

havent heard much about them, but just checked their website and the prices for D200s are seriously messed up. 3500 euro for a D200 with a 17-55? Are they having a laugh? It must be a typo.
