    Hi all,:)

I'm off on my holiyears in 20 minutes and flying to Croatia for our Escrima summercamp spending 7 days hitting each other with sticks along the Dalmation coast.

I will give a brief update when I come back but in the meantime don't discuss anything too controversial. :D

    Hey Mola,

I brought my books with me and spent an hour this morning studying corporation tax. :( I then went and explored Dubrovonik (spelling?) and walked the city walls in the rain before going into the nearest local Irish pub for a pint of weird Guinness.

Have to say it is a very beautiful city and the women look and dress like lap dancers, however with the rain they are a bit like fish out of water and are starting to look a bit more Irish. :)

Anyway I am heading further north along the Dalmation coast tomorrow and the Escrima will start on Tuesday.

    Until then, best regards,

    Michael O Leary

Best of luck with it mate, its great when you can get travell and training in the same package, it develops your learning in different ways.

Absolutely, mind you I would have said git, not get:) And I totally disagree, head shots never diminished my I.P.

    Have a ball, Mick!

head shots never diminished my I.P
Gonna say it before someone else does....when you start out with something so small it's nigh on impossible to diminish it:D
    P.S.
Due to a rare and probably unique genetic disorder I'm under Doctor's orders to wear the heaviest & thickiest helmet I can find for all future AK training meets!

HA, there's NO helmet (actually, no eye guard, nose guard etc) that can help with THAT particular disorder;) .

    Hi Guys,

After all the rain, then the sun came out and Jesus, I got warm but the Irish government warned the Croatians about my legs and I only was allowed into the country on the condition that I kept them covered up.:)

Anyway, left Dubrovonik this morning at 8am, met up with Nicolas Maraite, the assistant Wing Tsun and Escrima instructor for Dublin City Centre. We hooked up in Split as he had to leave Dublin later than me as he was doing his grading in Capoeira which he passed. Then the two of us moved onto the resort of Vodice arriving hot, sweaty and smelly at 4.30. Jumped immediatly into the sea, had a beer and repeated this for about the next 2-3 hours. My aim before I leave on Tuesday 8th is not to be the whitest man in Croatia. I actually moved from a light blue to white today and tomorrow am aiming for pink. I might make some kind of brown before the end of my stay. Either that or I will peel and the whole process will start all over again. :D

Anyway, the Escrima starts tomorrow so I will update you after.

    Regards,

    Michael O Leary
