el busto with pocket 9 s. utg i limp for 100 guy raises 350 every1 folds i push all in for 1775 called by k q off. chap had 9k before any betting and off course el kingo on ze flopsey. 2006 wsop over and out.
very dissappointed with how i played this game after flopping an openended straight flush draw with 69 off clubs i lost 6.5k off my stack. had took down a few pots prior to this and layed down pocket queens on a ten high flop. aces v 10 7 2 pair. board paired so aces held up.well all in all a very good experience next game macau clubs 1k followed by team event followed by mikes 1k antesup team green poker joker. so loads to look forward to and of course wsop 2007.

Did you not read the small print on the contract for all your backers? It quite clearly says "..... if you lose more than half your stack while chasing a draw, all backers will be entitled to a full refund of their investment... " So i'll be hunting for you over the next few days!!

Not to worry Dave. I'm sure you gave it your best shot and the experience will hold you in good stead for the next time. Enjoy the rest of your time out there and i pressume that means your da picked up the little side bet you probably had between each other??

Hard luck, Dave. I know how disappointed you must feel. Just remember that you ARE a very good player.

If you are going again in 2007 I'm sure you will get support. If I am around and have the funds I will chip in.

Thanks for being big enough to give us the circumstances of the exit. I know that was not easy.

Any word on your Da in the main event?

Hard luck Dave, very disappointing I'm sure. It's a huge pity about missing that big draw, but at least you had the balls to go for it. I think a lot of players might pass that up to ensure their tourney survival.
