recording video with web cam

    My web cam is a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX witha built in mike.

    I can take pictures with it but I wanna know how to record videos with it! Is there any free softwaer that will do this. I also want it in mpeg or avi format. Somthing that will play in windows media player with sound!

    I guess you didn't get any software with the cam. I think Yahoo Messenger allows you to record.

    I did but it was only the drivers and logitech video call software which isnt what i'm looking for! I'll check out yahoo tho!
