    Prob no real help for you, as I actually stayed in PDC last year.

    We hired a car for the week & toured the whole island several times.
    TBH, I was pretty disappointed with the island as a whole.

    Car hire for two days is more than enough in Lanzarote... You must have been bored senseless just driving around!

    I thought it was a fascinating island. It's just the people you have to deal with that make the place unpleasant. I can safely say I have never felt so unwelcome in bars and restaurants as I did when I was there. The locals are so rude.

    The only places where I got good service were owned by non-Lanzaroteans. I ended up spending a lot of nights eating in a French-owned restaurant and in German bars.
