I went to top up my allofmp3 account there today with my mastercard, but the mastercard option is no longer available.

Has this happened to anyone else? Its the same for my mate. Anyone know whats happening? I REALLY wasnna get as much as possible before theres a chance the new legislation will not allow use of the site! :p

It lists them, but when you og to pay, there is no mastercard option. I emailed them, but have yet to hear anything at all. Just wondering if this has restricted anyone else.

Why on earth would you give your credit card to an illegal music site (Yes it is illegal in Ireland)

It's been debated in a million other threads but just to say that you don't actually give allofMP3 your creditcard details. It's done through a 3rd party like Paypal.

Last time I checked it was done through Chronopay, a renowned and more importantly trusted internet payment service provider... your main point is completely correct, your details are as safe as if they were with Amazon, Argos, Tesco etc.!

I prefer Allofmp3. You get full download speeds, preview of tracks, and FULL albums.

Until I found this site, I would have never paid for music. If all music sites charged this amount AND gave some royalties to the artists, I would have no problem paying for music ever again.

I tried again this morning and still no mastercard option! I just want some music!!!:(

What exacly are you charged for in allofmp3?
Is it a set fee a song or for the amount of data downloaded?
What sort of bitrate options are you given?
    What would €10 get you?

Oh and as stated earlier IRMA view it as illegal, so in their eyes all Irish based subscribers are criminals.
They can then in theory sue you in a civil court for damages...dont rule this out in the future!!!!

If allofmp3 do get **** down or have their IP address blocked by Irish ISP...there are rumours that Digiweb may already be doing this...Im sure that some Chinese based website will pop up (Im actually positive that this will occur).

Allofmp3 charge per MB. 2 cent to be exact. A 12 song album is roughly 1.40 dollars. You can download most albums in any bitrate. 128kb MP3 to 1411 CD.

Now I don't want anyone flaming me. This is information not advertising! I personally use the site but do not encourage that others do so.:p

(But this still doesnt sort out my mastercard woes!!!)
