Does anyone know anything about the two new cowon pmp's - the d2 and p2, there supposed to be coming out setember but I havent heard anything about them, not a picture or spec anywhere, its strange, but maybe cowon are just very good at keeping secrets. What do ye think?
and on a different note can the viliv p2 record from TV? and when will we be able to buy it?

Hadn't heard of them I wonder if they are the next A2's?

I dont know I think so but I'm not sure but I put off getting my a2 just to be safe I've just asked cowon now

I have an A2 and I'm really impressed by it especially the regular firmware updates. Also it's built on Linux

I know the a2 is supposed to be brilliant and everything but it dosent sort music by id3 tag (which my creative zen micro does), in my creative you find the song you want to play like this: Menu>music liabary>artist>red hot chilli peppers>Stadium arcadium>dani california. or of corse you can sort by album or all tracks in stead of artist
so how do you play music in the a2 is it like the creative zen micro and Ipod?

You select the "Music" folder and navigate to the album/folder youi want select it and the tracks you want.

It shows a list of folders you can order them how you wish i.e. make
your own eg. Jazz, Rock, Nu Stuff etc

So you could have a folder
/Red Hot Chili Peppers
/Stadium Arcadium
/Mother's Milk
/Blood Sugar Sex Magik
/etc
/etc

Ah so is it like a list of artists, you select one, then it shows you ther albums, and then you pick an album and then a song.
or is it more like my music on the computer?
