    Hi

My old mobile (Nokia 6100) has about 600 contact in the address book. 400 of these are on the SIM and 200 are on the phone memory.

My new phone is Vodafone V1240. Can anyone give me instructions about how to transfer the 200 contacts from the phone memory of the old phone to the new phone?

Your help would be much appreciated :)

Using Nokia Data Suite to sync contacts to Outlook, then use Activesync to sync contacts to your V1240

Move the ones on the sim onto your new phones memory and them copy the remaining ones from phone memory (on the nokia) to your sim.

Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated. :-)

I was going to do the 'save sim contacts to phone memory on new phone' option, but only as a last resort really. It'll take ages due to the number of contacts! I'd hoped someone had an easier way! But thanks again for the suggestions. I'm still googling madly to see if anyone has any nifty devices or ways of doing this - always looking for a shortcut!
