What are you listening to currently ?

    Whats good to drive to?

My corsa has a casette player, anyone know how much it'd cost to get a cd player installed (poss. at halfords or deevys?)

Should I upgrade my speakers / add a subwoofer?

Just all the lads from work are doin it. :D

I have currently the cheapest Blaupunkt (plays suprisingly well) with mp3 and good factory speakers installed. For me it's enough.
You can install it yourself. It's so easy. There are standard connections ISO. Remove your old equipment carefully to not to damage anything. You can buy a tool to remove it unless you have it. Enjoy :D

There's a nice cd player in halfords for 199.99 with USB and SD card slot.

Check online, u get a player for around 100 euro. It won't have a sd slot or anything but would play mp3.

    These r just a few:

My Misubishi Mirage came with 4 speakers as standard and the only thing I changed was the stereo (from the standard doesn't-work-here-anyway japaneese cassette/radio to a Pioneer CD/MP3/Radio unit). More than enough :D

Any point in getting an induction kit fitted to a corsa b?

Guy in deevys told me it'd cause me loads of trouble, and a guy in halfords told me it'd be brilliant for my car.

    I'm confused.

Do not bother...its a 1.0ltr/1.2ltr, if you get a 0.5bhp increase in power I'd b surprised. It's just gonna make lots of noise and you're gona look like a knob goin by.
I've a nice Sony Gt300S system hooked up to Ford standard speakers in the front, Sony XS693Ns in the rear and a JBL GTO amp and sub. Very happy with the sound quality.

    and

make for some cracking driving music.

Don't bother spending money on any fancy audio, if I were you i'd just buy the cheap (less than €20) tape adapter thingy and stick in your mp3 player if you have one. If not just a cd player would be just as good.

Both decent headunits, probably sway for the alpine tho.

Halfords suck either ways and id take there advice with a pinch of salt,i dunno who deevys are either!

If your near waterford go to secure sounds and they'l put you right

Fitted this one in to my Octavia after some scumbag had "lifted" the previous one:
    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=233583&categoryId=31445&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=31445&crumb=31445&varient=&CarSelectorCatalogId=&CarSelectorGroupId=

Does all it needs to do, sound isn't great (lack of bass) but I suspect that's more to do with the speakers than the unit. Was opening weekend at the local store so got 10% off the already special price. Worked out at €115

Have a fantastic Pioneer unit that came in my Mitsubishi. Can get the windows and wing mirrors pumping in time to the bass without the sound distorting. Can't see it on the Halfords website but can't imagine it's a very expensive unit.

That one looks nice @ ror. So you can just plug a couple hundred mp3s over to a cd and as normal file transfer and they'll play in that?
