    Hi,

I have Nero 7 and have notices that it offers TV Tuner Facilities along with recording tv progs etc..Am I right in saying that this is good enough to use with a tv card as I do not have Windows Media Center?

    Regards

It has basic features for TV recording/viewing don't know if it has an EPG though which would be your TV guide.

But if all you want is to record/watch an occasional bit of TV it should do the job.

The manual for Nero Home can be found at this link which pretty much spells out how it works and it's features.

    Thanks,

But is "Media Portal" ( the open source software) a better solution then? It's free and it seems to have a huge range of functions. Also, As time progresses I may wish to expand functionality/
