Full DART and Commuter services resumed by Press Office

DART and Commuter services between Sydney Parade and Connolly have resumed following an earlier electricity power fault.

The fault had affected signalling systems. Some minor delays are resulting.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Fault was a ESB related and that is a TOTALLY BULL**** EXCUSE

A full diesel generator backup system is in place at all signalling installations on the DART line which can be switched in remotely. IE screwed up here by not switching over to the backup or most likely the backup failed to work due to lack of maintenance

This shouldn't have happened even with total ESB power failure the system was and is designed to stay working
