sky remote code

    Hi,

    I have searched everywhere for a sky code for a Mirai 32" LCD, one i found is 065 but that doesn't work. Does anybody know if Mirai is produced under another name or if someone has a code that would be great.

    Can't say I've ever heard of Mirai before. Try other brands like Philips, Bush, Goodmans, Beko.

    Been there many time Byte, No joy.
    Would a Humax code be listed under another manufacturer's name??

    It could be under anything!

    Ones I'd try: Beko, Philips, LG, Lexsor, Tevion, Thomson, Goodmans, Bush, Daewoo.

    If none of above work, ring Sky and see if they can do anything for ya.

    NOTE: The age of the remote control can also be a factor, as older ones won't be updated with codes for newer TV's.

    Got a great 32" Philips LCD but can't get it to work with Sky + remote. Press 'back up' or favourites 10 times or 'SKY' and TV switches off. Tried sky.com and tried all codes. Got a rev 8 remote.

    Help please, under pressure from wife and children...:confused:

    clear your remote by pressing tv hold down red and select together light blinks twice press 999 select. then re input philips code by pressing tv hold down red and select light blinks twice press tv then input 0081 press power button and press tv button continusly after each other until tv turns off then press select.

    OP it recognises Mirai brand but as I didn't have the exact model of your tv only got generic Mirai codes

    My apologies, I didn't realise it was resurrected yesterday.
    You seem to have solved Ivanski's slightly confusing post anyway. He might be able to use the site to get the specific code and save having to go through power/tv route. Apologies again.
