Yep.. read that about Patricia Wettig a couple of days ago.

And i read John Billingsley (who played Terence Steadman) won't be back either as he's got a main role in new ABC show 'The Nine' (which i've seen and is quite good)..

.. wonder how they're gonna deal with these?

PS - oh.. and practically the entire cast of Alias is in that 'Brothers And Sisters' show she's leaving for!

Both Balthazar Getty (Tom) and Ron Rifkin (Arvin Sloane) are main characters - the 'Alias' connection is probably due to Ken Olin's involvement (who was a producer / director on Alias).

well they are recasting the nondead brother as he wasn't seen much, but her they say her presence will be felt, I dunno more shots of chopped vegetables?

Im trying to imagine a nationwide manhunt for the killer of presidents brother... could be big.

Well.. as the article said, they've already came up with a way to write her out - whether it will be believable or not is another thing!

At least they're not going down the route of a certain soap opera a couple of years back when they changed the actor playing a character COMPLETELY and no-one suspected it of course as they used the line when this new actor entered: "oooohhh... i like your new hair-cut!" :rolleyes:

Thats just stupid!

How do you either replace or suddenly get rid of such an important character like that! She is behind nearly everything,and now she is the president. Stupid move not signing her on a contract. And recasting the guy who play steadman...well,we didn't really see him so it might not be too bad,but John Billingsley's voice is just really cool
