Does anyone know where I can get my leaving cert from?

If you are looking for a copy of results from a previous year, then you can go to the school that you took the exam in.

I would presume that schools would keep the certs from previous years too. Perhaps if ya got in contact with the CAO office, they might be able to do something?

You can buy a printed copy from them. They are usually very fast, but friday may be pushing it.... you need to ring them and talk very nicely/beg for some expediency (that means haste in case you didn't do well in LC English. ).

Didn't you get a copy in the post after the Exam? I got mine about 9 months after starting college (3 years ago). Or else you could try ringing the Stae Exams Commission in Westmeath and theyll post it out.

For some strange reason my Leaving cert grades were addressed to my parents.

If you finished secondary in the last couple of years, then your school should have your results. Anything more than that and you are in a spot of bother, examinations office would be your next stop.

Ditto. I got mine this February (I did my leaving in 2002) because the school had misplaced the box with our year's certificates in it. And I never got my Junior Cert. But nobody's ever asked to see it, tbh.

I think I threw mine in a river just after I got it.

Never actually needed the thing either in all these years...
