Announcing a New Gay & Lesbain Night Out

    From the Equality Alliance of Gays & Lesbians in Éire.

    EAGLÉ would like to extend a thank you to all who attended our launch last week and helped to make it a great success. EAGLÉ are proud to announce that we are currently in negotiations with a local nightclub to co-present a fortnightly, designated Gay & Lesbian Night in Wexford.

    As EAGLÉ believe in Equality for All, it will not be a Gay\Lesbian exclusive event, so all your friends, colleagues and family are welcome to join us for a good night out.

    Our plans are to run the event on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month. This means the first ever Designated Gay & Lesbian night in Wexford will be:


    “Heaven & Hell”
    On Thursday, 10th August 2006.

    With spot prizes for the best dressed Angels & Devils



    And the next night will be:


    “Back to Skool”
    On Thursday, 17th August 2006.

    With spot prizes for the best dressed Teachers & Pupils



    Our venue has shown their commitment to ensure this night is successful, as they have agreed to organise drinks promotions & top quality spot prizes.

    To show EAGLÉ’s commitment to the event, we will guarantee any group of 20 people or more that arrive before 11.00pm that they will get free entry to the club, so this in effect will subsidise your mini-bus or taxi fare.

    Just an update on things...

    Buses are being arranged from Carlow & Waterford. There will also be a bus from Arklow, picking up in Gorey on the way so if anyone is interested please let me know.

    We are also planning a Table Quiz on 12th August in Whites hotel so again, contact us for more information.

    Hi Guys & Gals,

    Tonight's event looks set to be the best night ever. There is one problem however, all the people that I know to be coming in costume, bar one, is dressing up as an angel, (as if they could even pretend to be angelic - lol) so we need more devils to join us.

    So, all you devils out there, get your skates (capes, tails, horns) on...:eek:
