I'm getting sky HD late august, but I need to connect the digibox to a phone line first, Sky don't do it, rang eircom they don't do it, an electrician advised I need an Eircom technician to install. Can anyone offer any advice or recommend someone who can connect my digibox to my telephone line, I would be using an existing phone line. Can any recommend someone good for the Dublin 5 area ?

    Thanks

We just used to have one of these phone splitters pictured below and worked fine. Line from the digibox in one, telephone in the other (think thats the way I had it). Hope that helps.

Do you know where I can get a telephone extension lead ? I'm guessing it's easy enough to do myself ?

Simple. Any homeware store or even Argos I think should have 10 metre extension cables. Just plug one end into the adaptor above and the other end into the back of the Digibox.
