    Can anyone recommend a good book to learn C++ from? I'm fairly advanced at C so i know the basics :rolleyes:

    Latest version of Deitel and Deitel is probably one of the best or the Bruce Eckel book is good too.. do a search for his name and you can download it for free

    It costs a bit, but is you check out http://www.gametutorials.com they teach C/C++, java, opengl, D3D and all that good stuff, they are good code based tutorials and not written like they are talking to a baby, they also teach from the point of view of making games, if your interested in that.
