Daymobrew - thanks a million for the link - I will definitely be there.

Lidl look to be selling quite a few tools as well - may be decent to have for the bike as well.

Anyone out there visit Lidl this morning? I mainly went in for some spare tubes, but they're the old Dunlop style valves! and only in imperial sizes - 20", 24", 26" so if anyone has a mountain bike and a really old pump, or a Raleigh Twenty they want to fix up...

Picked up a cycle computer though, and a saddle bag, and a pump, and a bike tool, and a gas mask, and a salami, and a halogen lamp... I love that place

Got a computer for €9.99, which is nearly free, and a saddle bag full of tools for €4.99. Lost my cateye computer on monday, so I'm delighted to get one so cheap. The buttons are a bit stiff, and it seems sensitive to radio waves, but I'll try it on the bike later and see what's what. It's nice that it's wireless.

Here's hoping the Lidl on Thomas Street still has some of the gear at lunch! The crowd round here aint really into cycling, so I should be grand!

Got myself the very last speedometer computery things, so am delighted with myself. It was underneath a big pile of illuminous jackets! Still plenty of pumps and tubes in there, but the tool kit things and speedometers are all gone...
