I mean it's feckin' sunday morning, the one day of the week I get to sleep on.
But come 6.30 it's like someone ringin a fire alarm in my head.
I've been rolling over, throwing the pillow over my head and trying to filter out negative thoughts in an effort to get back to sleep for a few hours, but nothing works.
So I eventually gave up, turned on the comp and posted this.

Trouble is that come 11 tonight I won't be able to stay awake.

Anyone else ever get rudely awakened by their bodily routine?

    *wanders off to make coffee*

Only on days off. When I'm working, I don't want to surface until before 9, which is usually the time I'm supposed to be at my desk.

I'm in work at the mo, 9pm-9am shift. Still though I only work two days a week so I guess that makes up for it :D
I normally sleep well these days though after having been a problem sleeper for most my life. I guess drink is the biggest causitive factor of my sleep disruption these days.

I have a fairly good internal clock, but don't need it any more as my cat has taken to moaning at my door from 6.30 onwards every morning.

usually the morning after I've been drinking, I'll wake up at like 6 or 7 due to dehydration, and won't be able to sleep. Not this morning though, I managed to sleep til 10.30 :) I think it was cos I had some water before I went to bed

My system has come under shock lately. I was completely nocturnal(sp?), Usually go to bed around 5:30am and get up around 1 or 2. But i got off my a$$ and got a job so everythings messed up.
First time i've been up this early on a sunday in ages.
