one BIG regret I have is that I didn't go into Scouts. I did Beavers and Cubs and both were ruined for me by knackers!!!! ****ing knackers! anyway I decided to quit before I went into Scouts. I never slept out in a tent, and I would have loved to for the experience.

have you got any regrets? oh and he first person to post "yeah, my big regret is reading this post" is a cock head

I regret being a cockhead and I regret reading this thread. :D edit others got there before me so im not a cockhead!

Biggest regret is filling out the CAO form in the company of other people and not taking a year out after the LCert to travel the world and discover my own ambitions so that I might not have ended up doing a course that doesnt really suit me cos Im not that much of a people person and I do not want to listen to your medical problems on and on ad nauseum!!

I also regret stupid arguments with people I love, regret not going to Oxegen etc etc etc just boring stuff. I havent lived long enough to have any juicy regrets Im afraid.

My biggest regret is that I haven't started saving up for a house much sooner.
Man! All those beer can pyramids were a lot of fun, but real walls that I own would be really nice.

I also regret that I didn't stop being such a wuss sooner and just try doing stuff!
Home improvement stuff is not as hard as it looks and is a lot of fun! Wish I'd have jumped in sooner! It could have lead to a great career instead of a great hobby that my friends envy.

So there you go...too few to mention!

Hmm, I don't really regret any of the bad stuff that would have happend in my life, they're the things I've learnt the most from. I don't think I've ever missed out on anything in my life yet that I still couldn't do either, so no, regret free here so far! :)

OP, why don't you become a scout volenteer or whatever sh*t they do there...you'de then not only get to sleep in tents with loads of kids like you've always dreamed, but you'd be the only adult supervisor in the middle of the woods...where no-one can hear you scream....Sure, it'd be great craic!

Just one regret and it was not staying another year in college but I'm studying again here now so I can make up for it, otherwise fairly happy with my life.

Where do you think they learn all those survival 1337 skills that allow them to live in a freezing box on wheels later in life?

I'd say they had no trouble getting their shoplifting or torching cars merit badges...

holy ****... same footin thing here man

scouts just seemed like a big pile of tossers. wasn't up for that

beavers was great... cubs was pretty alright but I could seem the arseholes starting to showthemselves... then we had this ceremony where all the different tiers came together for something... and the scouts were blood ***** to all of us

so I quit the next day

regret that springs to mind... not taking that chance... when I in fact HAD the chance

my biggest regret is that I never listened to my parent's advice on studying as hard as I could for LC as it open door to many opportunities. Now that I look back on it, I see what they mean.. I could have so much more but my loss

Being too shy in school and not confident enough to make new friends. Always wanted to do the cool skater/knacker drinking/bands/concerts/hash etc. all the teenage things going on, but I never would have fit in with them. But I never tried...

Bah. I have far too many. I think I'm stuck in the past. :(

I regret that I didn't do more travelling when I didn't have commitments.

Also regret not dealing with the outlaws from the outset. It would have saved years of abuse and upset. Keeping quiet does not work. They have been dealt with LOL

I regret having been very shy when I was younger which often resulted in being walked all over. Glad to say that as I've gotten older I've gained a lot of confidence and I'm well able to stand up for myself

Going straight from school to college! I shoulda taken a year out, but alas, that's not the done thing in my house.

That's the only one I can think of at the moment. I'll come back to this thread in about 60 years, and post some more ;)

I think I most regret not keeping in contact with old friends, and allowing the relationships to drift to such a point that when we meet it's just a room full of strangers with nothing to say to one another.

Also regret not working harder in college - got the grades but don't actually KNOW anything.

And I entirely regret buying that blue and red skirt yesterday - blue and red?! wtf!!? What was I thinking??

Why don't you go camping yourself OP?
Just back from camping(just in the door) and yes, as always, it is class.

Regrets, I have some, private though.
