Subjected to this ****e tonight, i have a fond dislike for all reality shows them all i hate esp those bloody house programes,

anywho my sister had ''Love Island'' on tonight and one part was '' Who is the sexiest person today'' and there's me thinking young ones
are going to be watching this and thinking unless you have big tits, small frame, and six foot blonde that you are deemed unattractive and unwanted
by the general public. so the world/media only likes looking at ''perfect people''.

    A very pissed off -VB-

Maybe it will provoke munters into bettering their appearance, which can only be a good thing. Honestly, whether its a crap haircut, poor clothing or thick rimmed specs some birds just cannot be arsed.

Dunno if this is really for the tv forum, hes referring more to the medias attitude towards beauty. Which, in my view, is 100% correct :) Its like Chris Rock said about that any time a man talks to an attractive woman, hes not making conversation, hes subtley offering sex

"Hey! How are you this morning?.... YOU WANT SOME DICK?!!?" :D

Legend. Like, in fairness, do you ever bother talking to unattractive women? Or am I just severely shallow?

yea thought about where to put it but my beef is not with the context of the programme itself its with the fact that 'beautiful' are consderd perfect and the rest of us are not.

    feel free to move btw

Yes, I can see WWM and he other AH mods losing sleep over the positioning of this thread...or not!

Perhaps, making the point first using Love Island as your example would have been more clear but I agree with the OP!

Should this be in Humanities? WWM et al. should decide :)

Big Brother this year has had at least four confirmed silicone-enhanced women, should young girls see this as an example...hopefully not. Effects of TV, ten years younger encourages dental and plastic surgery, how to look good naked counteracts this. These and BB are all C4 productions...talk about mixed messages...
