    Hey everyone,

This is a quick post to all you party people tell you to be careful
... and learn lessons from an event I witnessed last weekend.

At a beach party in Donabate, in the Dunes, last saturday, all was grand. My friends and I got there at 5am-ish and danced through until 10:30am.... There was about 100 people in all.

The music was still playing at 10:30am and people were dancing.

From the corner of my eye I watched this big Ukranian Guy (and his accomplice) start dragging this a 21 year old girl away from the dance area, I think she was Russian. She called out to one of her Russian friends who walked over to these Ukranian guys, and forced there hands open, so she could escape their grip, and she did.

The Russian guy seemed pretty calm, and to seemed to know the Ukranian guys, and talked to them for a while, then seemed to motion them away from the party, and they all walked over the Dune onto the beach.

I wondered if there may be a fight, but based upon the Russian guy and how calm he was, I figured I was watching something I didn't culturally understand.

Next thing I know someone comes running over the Dune to the party area, and shouts come quick, and I run over the dune and see the Russian (who saved his female friend) doubled over, his face was covered in blood.

I then found out, from two people who watched what I didn't see, that the Russian guy walked ahead of this Ukranian guy. The Ukranian guy took a razor blade of his pocket, and as the Russian guy turned around (passively - to talk) the Ukranian guy swung his hand up with the razor and sliced open the Russian guys cheek. The ambulance said hit was an inch and half deep, his cheek had been cut in half.

Aparently the Ukranian thug then stood over him... and then triumphantly walked up the beach.

The police and ambulance were called... they were caught.

I have lots of russian, latvian and lithuanian friends and eastern european, all of whom I find are really decent, good people. This behaviour, from an Eastern European, really shocked me.

From my experience of Russian people and Russia, its seems that Ireland gets the worst of the crop. The Russians who came to Ireland mostly came in a questionable way as it is difficult for ordinary Russians to get this far. Th

    friend Pronunciation (frnd)
    n.
    1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
    2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
    3. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
    4. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement: friends of the clean air movement.
    5. Friend A member of the Society of Friends; a Quaker.
    tr.v. friend·ed, friend·ing, friends Archaic
    To befriend.
[Middle English, from Old English frond; see pr- in Indo-European roots.]
    friendless adj.
    friendless·ness n.

Word History: A friend is a lover, literally. The relationship between Latin amcus "friend" and am "I love" is clear, as is the relationship between Greek philos "friend" and phile "I love." In English, though, we have to go back a millennium before we see the verb related to friend. At that time, frond, the Old English word for "friend," was simply the present participle of the verb fron, "to love." The Germanic root behind this verb is *fr-, which meant "to like, love, be friendly to." Closely linked to these concepts is that of "peace," and in fact Germanic made a noun from this root, *frithu-, meaning exactly that. Ultimately descended from this noun are the personal names Frederick, "peaceful ruler," and Siegfried, "victory peace." The root also shows up in the name of the Germanic deity Frigg, the goddess of love, who lives on today in the word Friday, "day of Frigg," from an ancient translation of Latin Veneris dis, "day of Venus."

    Ass cheek maybe?

His face was covered in blood because the blood spray from his ass cheek being cut open ricocheted off a rock and his shoe and hit his face.

I once knew a eastern european who flew a plane into a building in America. Or was he middle eastern? Ah who cares, on with the racist stories! Once I get an excuse to say bad things about the Russians I'm happy, they once had communism you know.

This post starts out as a caution to readers at beach parties, then suggests that there are people not born in Ireland that be the source of caution?

My question. Did they invade the beach in Viking-like long boats, pirate ships, WW II landing barges, scuba gear, or on surf boards?:D

You're either too uncool or too old to know about these parties. Or possibly both. My god, haven't you ever heard of Eva from Poland?
