Well, tonight I finally got a chance to work on the RAW files from last week and finish off the set. Unfortunately I had to work around having left the camera set to ISO800, so there is some nasty noise there to be ignored, if possible. Apart from that, any suggestions, c and also c are much appreciated. I made a particular effort to not just focus in on very small details, and even made an attempt at a landscape-ish shot too! I know most of you will have seen them on flickr but I thought I'd post a thread here too, just for the sheer joy of it...

    clicky clicky linky linky

Aaaaaand, if you want to be lazy and not have to actually click more than once, here's the wee flickr slideshow thingamybob...

    slideshow joy

I have to say though,in particular I have one favourite. I had to work hard on it in PS because it was overexposed and had highlights blown out, but I think I salvaged it fairly well. Any suggestions on re-shooting are very welcome on this because I want to try and do it again, but better. Here it is:

And a link to the large one too, honestly, it's worth it :p

I really liked those - my favourite would be this one :

I love the way hardly any of the frame is wasted on the sky and the fisherman up in the top corner really gives the scale of it. Great tones and textures and detail in this pic.

    Cheers much :)

Something a bit different from the usual, especially in bw. I just wish I'd had it set to a lower ISO so I had better detail in the rocks. Won't ever forget to check that setting again though...!

Nice series - all from 1 trip?

You did a nice job of "seeing" the images, and capturing them.

It's tough when you come back and see iso 800 on the exif, especially when they are good pics. I have done that myself. Great pics Elven
