So heres the story...

A couple of weeks ago me and a mate decided to book a trip to Amsterdam, cash was low so we wanted to do it as cheap as possible we found some ok flights so we booked them yesterday along with the accomadation now were meant to be flying Saturday at 06.10am and we live in Waterford so have to get a bus to Dublin which takes 3hours tonight (last bus leaves at 09.15pm)

My mate needed to get a new passport and had to go to Cork on Tuesday they told him that it would be ready for collection today between 12pm & 4.30pm (cutting it fine i know) He is in Cork now and just texted me to say its not ready till 4 his been there since 12pm and it will take him 2 hours to get back if traffic is good.

And to top it all off, as i said earlier we haven't much cash we applied for a loan and that was meant to be here!!! I keep calling them and there saying they will try sort it out... Im going out of my mind its not looking promising

Yeah you're probably going to have to call in a bomb threat or release thousands of bird around the airport or kill your friend and wear his skin.

Doesn't sound like you went overboard on the whole organising side of it. What's the problem with your mate? If he gets it at 4, he still has plenty of time to get back for the 9:15 bus. Loan-wise, it just means you might have to survive til Monday. If it doesn't come in today, it will be in by then

Yeah it was very stupid of us everything was left till the last minute.
Didn't even have clothes ready had to wash everything last night and turn on the central heating to dry them and some are still drying now while I'm doing the ironing the sweat is pouring out of me.

I like the idea of the bomb scare Hmm nah only kiddin, but something has to be done!!!

Yeah just got a text he has got his passport and is on the bus now hurray for that at least...

Money wise still nothing from them NEVER get a loan from Provident there not even answering. What makes me mad is she said if I pay off my existing loan she would see no problem with me getting this one, it was only 80euro so payed that last Friday and since then she hasn't called me or anything.

Were trying a few other things at the moment so hopefully one of them will come through fingers crossed..

Well **** today, i could write a book on all the bad things that happened anyways i'll give you a brief run down...

Mate got off bus and found out the loan hasn't been accepted, so then we decided to change our original booking time to 12hrs later (buy us some more time to get mula).

Gonna ask a couple of close friends and see what happens say a prayer for me guys i really really really wanna go

Edit: im a bit pissed at mo, needed it for the stress u know lol, i'll fill you in as things progress

But we havent given up hope yet, actually I think we have more of a chance today than we would have yesterday so hopefully it will all go well (I'v just jinxed it now oh well lol)

Can you maybe ask your bank for a "Temporary Overdraft", my bank manager has done it for me many times (PTSB) in an emergency.

Alternatively sell somthing extremely valuable at an extremely low price on adverts.ie

There's always prostitution, go hang out in the phoenix park tonight see how much you get!
