king sized Kiwi (3 shots for cc)

hi all

got a bit bored last night so thought I'd try something a bit different.

took a lamp (with shade) taped some wax paper over the top, sliced some kiwi, placed Kiwi on paper. - voila, back lit kiwi.

D200 with sigma 105 ex dg macro, tripod and a touch of flash on the first one -

comments/critiques welcome of course.

Ooh, I like them, I was going to get a wee lightbox from jessops this weekend to do the same thing with orange slices

I like the third one, with the different tones and textures with bits of the flesh, the seeds and the skin in there. Hairy...

I like them as well - great dof and strong colours - very well lit too.

Ooh i like that thingy with the two pictures and the text. I half expected to see a motivational statement underneath though

I've seen a couple good ones with apples sliced horizontally, they have a kind of star shape in the middle, and the pips too. I think I'd make too much of a mess with tomatoes!!
