What kind've spoilers? Minor ones? Or gigantic OMG spoilers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,571 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Great trailer. Over a minute long, and yes - it is pretty spoilery. However it is an official trailer, so they do hold back. Watch at your own risk.

<prayer>Oh sweet jebus....provide me with the strength not to watch the trailer.</prayer>

I still have the last two episodes of season 2 to watch. I've been holding off on watching them for ages because October's so far away. This has provided me with fresh impetus to watch them. *breathe* *breathe*

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,564 ✭✭✭quad_red

    Khannie,

They don't give much away to be honest. Nothing that we didn't already know/expect.

    Actually, scratch that.

There is one big spoiler in there. But it didn't bother me to hear it.

Come on October. Where's my DeLorean?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,225 ✭✭✭Scruff

well if he watchs the trailer before watching the last 2 episodes of season 2 it s definitely going to completely spoil the end of series 2 for him!!!!

    /eidt
I display a firm grasp of the obvious there. :p

    Oh ****!

Sorry Khannie - for some reason I got it into my head that you were REwatching season 2.

Scruff is dead right. You'd make a right balls of it if you hadn't seen the end of season 2.

You'd totally know he's a ghost, his wife's head is in the box, that they're the same person and that IT WAS EARTH ALL ALONG (damn dirty apes).

Wow, I had no idea this show warranted a whole forum. Its a great show isn't it? I accidentially came across the pilot on sky at christmas time. I'm all caught up now and was wondering when the next season was. Very cool!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,488 ✭✭✭Goodshape

    Wow, looks great :D

Talk about progressing a storyline (Lost, take note!).. can't wait for October.

    //edit
I think the 'new' season three opener posted above is a fan made thing (judging by the description from the guy who posted it on youtube).

Oh Lord Sweet Heaven Above, I had been trying so hard to forget how much I miss this bloody show and now all my hard work is for nought! Roll on October!!!

    Watch this teaser

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtTG0QqutiA&mode=related&search=

It gives nothing away - yes, people are shown. But they are shown in flashes and it's face shots. And most of them are from season 2. So it's hard to infer anything.

The voice over is class (but doesn't give anymore away than was apparent at the end of season 2).

    ROFL. HAHAHAHAHA.

I'll never forgive Daisy Donovan for pulling "he's a ghost" the day before said film was launched on dvd. Geebag!

I'll hold off then. I'm off work next week so I'll probably watch those last two episodes then. Thanks lads. :D

I'm currently at Comic-Con in San Diego, and was at a BSG panel this afternoon (I haven't even seen Season 2 yet, btw).

Edward James Olmos was talking aboyut how much darker Season 3 was going to be than previous seasons. He described the darkest points of Season 2 as going to be "happiness compared to this year".

I'm trying to decide which were the 'dark' parts to season two.. tbh, there were a few different types of 'dark' throughout.. I wonder which type of dark he's on about (i.e. gritty dark, bleak prospects dark, tough supject matter dark, bad lighting dark?, etc).

Oh, I will, I'm just waiting for the dvd to be released.

More of the first three, less of the last, I think.

    Dark is good :)
Best sci fi is dark sci fi to be honest.

Great preview, pity about the Nickelback track to accompany it!

Seems time has progressed even a bit further than where they left us at the season finale and the Occupation has become bedded in. Interesting where they're going too with this notion of those who fought back versus those who collaborated.

God, I need it to be October. I forgot quite just how much I missed this until I found myself standing on my chair, gripping the arms and screaming hurry up at the screen, while waiting to see the 'new?' titles.

Ok did anyone else hear Lee say
"this is Kara, your mother" just before the shot of him holding a little girl who looks about 3-5
    ?

I'm guessing that's from when she had her ovaries removed at the start of Season 2. I reckon a year passed during the course of season 2 + the year long jump for the last episode which would put the girl at 2 years old. The child in the video looks very old for 2, but it's TV, they probably weren't able to get a younger actress.

Ooops, that's what I meant. Hope they do this storyline well, it has a lot of potential to be awful.

ahh, i'm sure he'll be killed off fairly early on. and she'll go all crazy drunk again, right in the nick of time, realise something, and save the day, and live happily ever after....oh no wait, this is bsg...not some nancy boy star trek episode :)

so he'll proably just die, and she'll stay drunk...for at least 2 seasons

No starbuck. The cast members you've seen are the only ones who are going to be in the webisodes. ie. The smaller bit characters. I dunno if this is cos of the actors strike earlier in the summer or budgetary reasons.

"The actors were Michael Hogan (Saul Tigh), Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol), Nikki Clyne (Cally), Matthew Bennett (Doral), Christian Tessier (Duck), Dominic Zamprogna (Jammer), Emily Holmes (Nora), Alisen Down (Barolay), and Carmen Moore (Sister Tivenan)."
