Check this out...
I wanted to see how good the "Top Players" are and went onto a server where Blazin.uk was playing.
I was amazed to see that all he does is run around reviving people, imagine, all those hours running around as a medic.
Anyway, just goes to show that just cos you have 10 billion points your not the dogs testes....
BTW this is not a trumpet blowing excercise...

Anyway, he's well off the top now, so you can whip out your rulers again and attack the next guy for being number one.

I dont mean that, I mean he has thousands of hours playing and all he does is revive people, bit boring no?

That you did mean that he is not the best player in your opinion, because he doesn't concentrate on the frags.

Yet, if he was to run past you when you're on half health or screaming for a revive to shoot someone, you'd complain as well.

If you had to seek out what server he was on to find this out, then its not really your concern how some other bloke plays the game.

I agree seen the guy play i mean ffs wtf? theres Sim hospital for that type of game. For all his reviving we lost flags he could have been at actually shooting people rather than running away reviving.

For a change? Its my opinion. I posted it. That was all.

The kit is in the game, as are the shock paddles, to revive people*. Every team needs a medic, and he fills that position. If it is supposed to be all about the kills as you seem to have decided, then why put the options for kits in the game? Why not just have assault?

It could equally be argued that all the people who run around just using the pkm to kill and not throw down ammo are stats whores, because its all about the kills and no teamwork.

I just think the phrase is being thrown around too much. Cap too many flags? Stats whore. Play as a medic? Stats whore. Play on a ranked server? Stats whore.

* Generally. Does not include d22ontour.

No times i seen him on a server he just didnt fight, let flags go to revive someone.

Keeping and holding the flags is the game.

The point I'm making is that I think its sad that someone spends so much time playing a game just to run around and revive people.

I like my gaming as much as the next bloke and in BF2 I try to mix up my kits and gameplay to keep it interesting, but to spend so many hours just reviving people? Sad.

Another of the top players I seen had 50,000 C4 kills, at least that would have been somewhat interesting.

well personally i i think the whole stats thing is sad , what ever happened to loggin in and having a laugh without worring with how many ppl u have killed or how many times you have died?

You can't blame EA for the stats system IMHO. Their job is to make money and they came up with the stats system which seems to get people to play more and more. I'd say "Well done EA".

BlaZin.uk is known to be more than one player,its a power player account in where he or she pays people to log onto theyre account to play for stats.
Tho they could employ better people ...1774 hrs played and only a 10,000 margin between kills & deaths :eek:

Its just a known thing in online games im afraid,especially the likes of wow.
If i can find the link i seen a while back i'll post it up.
But it more or less named a few players in bf2 and other games,how they subscribe and pay into a company that has people playing the game while your not (think this was a romanian company with spotty faced teens getting paid pennys more or less).But it means that when you want to log on you have loads of medals,unlocks,points,Stats and a well known name.

And my own 2 cents ,players that are ranked high arent necessarily unbeatable or deadly,Bf2 is ranked by how long you play,not by how many you kill etc ...so skill isnt really rewarded i think

True, maybe some medals reflect skill but for the most part having a high rank is just how much time you put in.

Not that he plays for millions of hours, but you emphasised that he only played one kit, and that was your issue throughout the thread.

My reply was the first reply, so I don't know what bandwagon I jumped on, since there was none. And in fact, everyone agrees with you, so I'm nowhere near the bandwagon. Maybe you meant banned wagon?

My only other point was that running around reviving people for almost 1800hrs is damn sad in my opinion.

Theres plenty of people that think internet forums are sad, and that grown men playing computer games are sad. Sad/Pathetic/Pointless as in I seen how the guy plays and I think its sad that all he plays for are points and how he achieves a lot of those points is running around reviving people. Whats the point? Why not mix it up with different classes or vehicles etc. Come on, have you ever played a game where all you do is revive people with shock paddles? How boring must it be?
