    Just wondering what is the minimum age to get in to the Guards? I also ware glasses, just for driving would that have any effect on me getting in?

    There is a mention about glasses and requirements here. I don't see any mention of age, maybe someone else will be able to help.

    No age limit anymore but try to remember that you will have to walk the beat 8 hours a day, work shifts and get into fights so at 50 will you be able for that?

    Also, will you get the full pension? Need 30 years for that and the limit is 60 to retire (I think, it was 57)

    Minimum age is 18 up to 35. Above that is for the reserve force.

    Very strict on vision. Unless you get eye laser treatment, it's very doubtful, you'll be accepted.

    The latest recruitment campaign is to start soon, however, they always get thousands of applications. If successful, one way of getting into the main service is through the Reserve.
