Spoilerfied both summaries as airing is a few hours away yet and some of us do like to know as little as possible about episodes.

Same as last week.. pick an average for both episodes when making a decision in the poll. And you can give individual marks here along with comments if you like.

Oh... and more good news, 2 episodes again next week! RTÉ are obviously trying to finish the series

10/10 for me too, so far.

I've never been so tense for an hour, and cursed so many times! Jaysus, the suspense may well kill me!

Can't wait for the next part!

/edit: Absolutely amazing! 10/10 no doubt. What an unreal show!

    Double bill again next week!

Yeah, I'd go along with the line that it was brilliant. Liked the crazy fella who is in the gang now. Still don't like Michael though, but then again, I don't normally like heroes. That meant I gave it a 9.

Very good though, and am now addicted...

there are at least two other episodes of PB that had me more gripped.

Did anybody notice these video errors:
When the CO threw water on TBag, the ginger haired CO was next to him, but when we return to the CO who threw the water we see the same CO leaving the control room and walking up to him
When the 2 lawyers are asked to leave their visitation with Lincon one of the gaurds is the same gaurd who was tied up to a poll in the doctors examination room.

    DA DAHHH!

"I'm gonna sing like Johnny Cash" - absolutely loved that, its absolutely perfect. On the johnny cash note, I feel every prison break fan should acquire: Johnny Cash - The Mercy Seat. Saw it on a promo for prison break on uk channel 5, was the only thing that made me watch it, suits the show perfectly.

gave it an 8 cos there was a bit of flim-flam there which i thought was overdone...Sucre antagonising over going thru the wall 'cos of el Diablo, the number of times we saw cons banging the infirmary windows, and Tbag just being a regular pain in the hole. no pun intended, obv...

still'n'all it's top telly and, bar the current series of 24, (which, due to it's late hour showing on RTE2, isn't really mainstream telly anymore) it's the best thing on by a country mile. Only got into it over the weekend thanks to UKGold bringing me RIGHT up to where we were tonight...

double bill next week; the sky plus has been set to record and series linked...'nuff said, innit...

forgot about that one. I was on the phone and i could see Tbag talking so i knew he was sprouting pure tv gold once more. Best thing about these two episodes is the dragging of tbag out of the preverbal closet and onto the main stage. He has a hand in a lot of the great scenes.

More action in those two episodes of PB than in the whole season 2 of LOST.

Really enjoyed the show, got an 8 from me.

What I didn't like was the lenght of time it took the cons to get through the glass, it was a bit dragged out. Sucre and Abbruzi broke through a solid concrete wall almost as quick...

Other than that, it was pretty much top notch TV.

Also, the scene with the legals on the plane to washington. Was that Sucre's girlfriend that sat in the seat behind them, it looked alot like her!

The synposis for Ep1 is pretty much the same for Ep2 for some reason, but these should bring you up to speed a bit, but if you should make it your duty to watch the previous 5 episodes in the next week. Here is also the character info page on Wikipedia, it provides excellent background info into the characters (no spoillers in there), it's all info you would have learnt in the first few episodes. It should help you to get to know the characters a bit better.

    Episode 1: Pilot
Lincoln Burrows is currently on death row and scheduled to die in a few months for an assassination his younger brother Michael is convinced he did not commit. With no other options and time winding down, Michael takes drastic measures to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Once he's inside, Michael - a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison - begins to execute an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove him innocent. When Michael arrives at Fox River State Penitentiary, he meets the prison denizens who will, unknowingly, help in his escape plans - his cellmate, the lovelorn Sucre; beautiful prison doctor Dr. Sara Tancredi, who happens to be the governor's daughter; former mob boss John Abruzzi; and Warden Henry Pope. Meanwhile, outside the prison walls, the brothers' childhood friend and Lincoln's lost love, attorney Veronica Donovan, works within the law to free them; Lincoln's teenage son LJ may be going down a path similar to his convicted father's; and Secret Service Agent Paul Kellerman's investigation into Lincoln's case proves that there may be a national conspiracy in the "Pilot" and "Allen" episodes of the PRISON BREAK series premiere.

    Episode 2: Allen

    Episode 3: Cell Test
Time is running out, and Michael must enlist the help of his cellmate, Sucre, to help execute his elaborate escape plan. Once Sucre realizes what Michael is up to, however, he decides that he doesn't want any part of it and asks for a cell transfer. Michael's new cellmate, Haywire, is trouble like his name. Unable to continue with his plan, Michael fears the worst. Meanwhile, Veronica's suspicions are growing as she meets a woman who may be able to help stop Lincoln's execution on the "Cell Break" episode of PRISON BREAK.

    Episode 4: Cute Poison
HAYWIRE SEES RIGHT THROUGH MICHAEL'S PLANS; LINCOLN HAS SHOCKING NIGHTMARES; VERONICA TEAMS WITH A LEGAL EAGLE; AND SUCRE FEARS HIS FUTURE IS DOOMED ON 'PRISON BREAK' MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 ON FOX

Seeing isn't believing when Haywire develops a fascination with Michael's elaborate torso tattoo, which further delays Michael's timetable for escape. Sucre has a change of heart when an unexpected visitor informs him of Maricruz's affairs. Lincoln's nightmares about his execution intensify. Veronica goes on the defense for Lincoln as she teams with an advocacy lawyer who may be more than interested in justice on the "Cute Poison" episode of PRISON BREAK.

Episode 5: English, Fitz or Percy
WARDEN POPE IS BLACKMAILED; MICHAEL MUST RAISE THE ROOF TO EXPEDITE THE ESCAPE; VERONICA FEARS HER ALLIES MAY BE HER ENEMIES ON "PRISON BREAK" MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, ON FOX

Kellerman and Hale pay a visit to Warden Pope, whose past may not be as angelic as it appears; Michael learns he may be getting out of Fox River much sooner than he expected - without Lincoln; Veronica and Nick's investigation to prove Lincoln's innocence makes Veronica doubt whom she can really trust; Michael must raise the roof as another piece of his escape plan on the "English, Fitz or Percy" episode of PRISON BREAK.

Episode 6: Riots, Drills and the Devil
MICHAEL TURNS UP THE HEAT TO FACILITATE HIS ESCAPE PLAN; LINCOLN'S EXECUTION MAY BE SOONER THAN HE THINKS; T-BAG UNCOVERS A STARTLING SECRET; AND A FULL-SCALE RIOT THREATENS MORE THAN ONE LIFE ON "PRISON BREAK" MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, ON FOX

Michael turns up the heat to break through to the other side (of his cell wall). Unbeknownst to Lincoln, outside forces plan to move up his execution day. Veronica and Nick track a lead to Washington, DC. A full scale riot in the prison threatens the lives of inmates and employees alike and gives T-Bag an opportunity to uncover a startling secret on the "Riots, Drills and the Devil" episode of PRISON BREAK.

Not the best synposis there so i'll add to it. Michael needed to catch up with his schedule so he broke the air conditioning unit which in turn turned the cells into a oven. The prisoners rioted due to the heat issues not being properly resolved. TBag stole the show with his tbaginess. Micheal drilled thru a wall which leads to the sewer system using an egg beater! Yes an egg beater. He basically drilled pressure points and kicked in the wall. Nuts!

During the riot the doctor got in a spot of trouble with about a dozen patients in her medical facility. Micheal came to the rescue, he came thru the vents from Gen.Pop and brought her to saftey. They had a moment! It was nice.

An inmate made an attemp on Lincons life during the riot, it was arranged by the same man who setup Lincon with the guns (the guy with the baseball cap). Lincon killed him anyway.

During the riot Tbag took an CO hostage and was about to entertain him in a cell, however, while wrestling with the CO he uncovered the escape and is now part of the gang. The new gang agreed to leave the CO return to his work if he kept quite about the jailbreak, he agreed, however, tbag had his way with him soon after (knifed him!)

    Charles Westmorlans Cat is missing.
Tbag has a new friend on his pocket.
Verionica and (other guy) found out that the tip off given to police about seeing Lincon running from the scene of the crime was in fact made in Washington DC and not Chicago.

That's about it. That pretty much covers last nights viewing i think.

    Episode 7: Part 2 of 6
THE FULL-SCALE RIOT ESCALATES, THREATENING MORE THAN ONE LIFE ON "PRISON BREAK" MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, ON FOX

As the full-scale riot escalates, Michael faces a difficult decision regarding the life of Dr. Sara; Abruzzi and Sucre team up to break the devil's back; T-Bag tastes blood in his quest to be included in the escape plan; Lincoln has a potentially fatal confrontation; and Veronica and Nick track a lead to Washington, DC, on the "Part 2" episode of PRISON BREAK

Is a sypnosis thread a good idea for a sticky? A lot of people will miss an episode or two and with RTE not yet reshowing past episodes it could be a nice feature. It could also contain links to the discussion threads for ease of use.

OMG:eek: Brilliant TV. I hate T-Bag, but I love to hate him. If RTE keep showing double bills then we only have roughly 8 weeks left, not that I am complaining about the doubles.
    Gave it a 9.

Few things annoyed me that I only remember now. One being the 'home alone' kid's dad arriving into the prison and having the whole 'my way or the highway' attitude about him witht the doctor inside. It was all a bit stupid that he landed over to the prison but, I suppose, stuff like that has to be expected on american dramas. Suppose it wasn't as ridiculous as Jack Baeur landing over at the president's place a few weeks back...

I reckon there are going to be double episodes nearly every week.

The reason i say this is that during the ads last night there was a competition for a trip to the states running in conjunction with Prison Break.. The closing date for entries was either Sept 19th or Sept 26th (a Tues) so i reckon that is when season 1 will finish.

Damnit, I hate giving out 10/10 but this was better than last week and I gave 9/10 last week.
Great stuff from start to finish. The tension was unbearable at times... T-bag finding the hole, Mafia guy messing with the egg-blender/screwdriver (I swore he was going to cock the whole thing up), Doctor girl trapped in the sickbay and her subsequent rescue.
T-bag was great in this one and it's interesting to see him in on the escape now. He's such a slimy perverted fcuker..... it's great :p
The riot was cool too. GET ON THE TRAIN :D
Once again, cool use of the tattoos to mark where to drill. I think that's been my favourite use of them yet.
Wasn't so gone on the Lawyer side of things this week. Mostly because it was taking the action away from the riot. Creepy moment though on the phone "from this point on consider yourselves dead".
One thing I didn't like (which is why I think I'll give this a 9 instead of 10) was Lincon's side of things. How stupid must he be to follow some tree of a guy down into the underground of the prison without realising something isn't right. I suppose in fairness to him he was just cracked across the head and probably wasn't thinking right.

Again, great action and pace, great twists and shocks and the losse-ties all tied up by the end of the episode. We've also been given a few interesting things to think about that will no doubt crop up in the future. Doctor girl suspects Michael even more but she's sympathetic to him. T-bag could be a major spanner in the works for the escape. Could see a change in Warden at the prison after the little talks the head security guy had with the governor. Interesting stuff ahead.
    9/10

All right I admit it, all of you who kept saying stick with it, it gets better, you were dead right.

Two of the best episodes of tv I have seen in a very long time. Gave it a nine becuse of the inordinately slowly breaking glass in the infirmary but everything else was excellent. I just hope it can maintain this standard all the way through.

Kept his mouth shut. He was a rookie and after that incident he'd prob have never returned to work. Plus they had leverage on him with his daughter.

If he'd been an old hand, he might have snitched.
