windows 2000 , cant log in

    Hi I have just got an old pc from work , and I hvae set it up at home ,
    but when I try logging in ,it wont let me as it is saying it is the wrong password, I have also tried my colleagues passwords but no avail.its the operating admin looking for the password, *(windows 2000)
    it was on a network in work and I was wondering is there any way I cn reset this or wipe the password all together, thanks guys/girls hope u can help me:(

    It may be easier to bring it back into work and ask your IT guys to reset the password.

    If it's been on a domain, you'll find yourself with a pain in your head until it's removed from the domain.

    There are NT password crackers which you can download, but they can consume a large part of your day.

    or you could try re-install win 2k or install XP if you dont need whats on its HDD atm

    It might be quicker to set it as a slave drive on another system and remove what you want off it then format it and do a fresh install of Windas. :)
