Just wondering if anyone knows of a scrapyard/breakers or someone who deals with non runners. Took a bike off the road a few years ago, been in dry storage since, but don't want to start it without checking out engine first. just don't have the time to work on it and can't sell it in buy and sell as is.

1981 suzuki gs850gt.complete bike nothing missing. 25k miles. I put up 15k of them and I was the second owner. bits of surface rust starting to creep up. It's a shame to let it rot there. My 5 year old thinks it's his for when he's older......that aint gonna happen. just don't know what to do with it. I had left it there as an easy project for later, and never got back to it. used to start it up and blast down the laneway behind the house for half an hour every six months, but one day the battery was dead, and that was the end of it. very sad when you consider i used to clean the engine fins with an old toothbrush. Not overly keen to let city spares wreck it, but if I have to.........
