Boards Survivor II - Round 1 (at last!!!)

Welcome to the start of Boards Survivor II. Apologies for the delay, I broke my leg, was hospitalised for too long and didn't have net access. Anyway the eight Survivors that will be taking part are:

Slurms
Rhyme
Sweet
Santa Claus
Ozzy
Diarmsquid
The Gnome
Nightwish

You will have one week to VOTE FOR WHO YOU WANT TO BE *** ELIMINATED ***.

As with every round of Boards Survivor II there will be an Immunity Challenge. As this is the first round there will be two Immunity Challenges. The winner of Immunity Challenge #1 will gain immunity from THIS round. This means if you vote to have someone eliminated from this round but they end up gaining immunity, then your vote will be WASTED. This is what we in Boards Survivor call "Tough Monkey Doo-Doo".

The winner of Immunity Challenge #2 will win immunity from Round 2. If however they get eliminated in Round 1, then another dose of Tough Monkey Doo-Doo™ will be administered to the remaining survivors as none of the them will have immunity from Round 2.

Now for the bit where I state the rules for voting - having witnessed some "confusion" amoung certain posters (who shall remain nameless) in Round 0, I'd advise anyone who's a bit SLOW to read this several times:

1. You must have had at least 150 posts AT THE START OF THIS THREAD for your vote to be valid.
2. You must VOTE FOR WHO YOU WANT TO BE ELIMINATED (Boards Survivor is not a popularity contest).
3. The Survivors and their supporters must not spam ANYONE with PMs looking for voting support (offenders will be reported to the admins who don't take kindly to abuse of the PM system).
4. The Survivors and their supporters must not spam ANY BOARD with threads looking for support UNLESS they get permission from at least one mod of the given board they wish to start the support thread on.
5. It is permissable to seek support through the use of signatures, so long as they comply with boards.ie sig rules.
6. Any dispute over the rules will be resolved by my decision only AND with the response "Bite me!".
7. You MUST read the all the previous rules several times and MEMORISE them.


Immunity Challenges 1 & 2:

Both Immunity Challenge #1 & Immunity Challenge #2 will be based on the first Immunity Challenge from last year. Your task is simple:

I've thought of the name of a THING. "Thing" can mean anything from a large object such as a PLANET or something small like a BALL OF FLUFF. The "Thing" will not be the name of a person or place and will not be the name of a species. The "Thing" will consist of TWO WORDS. I have entered each word SEPERATELY into Google Image Search with SafeSearch turned off. The searches were done this evening, but due to Google's dynamic searching abilities the chosen images may not appear on the first page of results in the future. I have been careful to pick words that will result in reasonably work-safe image results, but this cannot be guaranteed, so if you GET SACKED for looking up porn, don't come whinging to me. I have picked ONE IMAGE that comes up as a result for each word respectively. You must determine, using whatever method you like, what word each image corresponds to.

As an example consider the "Thing" known as a "razor blade". If you enter "razor" into Google Image Search and then enter "blade" into another SEPERATE search, you will find the following two images in each search respectively:

If the Immunity Challenge were to require you to find the thing "razor blade", then those are the two images I would have chosen and given.

Links to the images for each word will have been PM'd to the Survivors before I started this thread. Survivors or their supported must not post these images or links to these images anywhere on boards.ie. The first Survivor to post the solution to the Immunity Challenges in THIS THREAD will gain immunity from this round for the Immunity Challenge #1 images and from Round 2 for the Immunity Challenge #2 images. To clarify, this DOES NOT mean you have to win both Immunity Challenges, two different Survivors may win each Immunity Challenge seperately. However it is also permissable for a Survivor to win both challenges, thus gaining immunity from this round and the next and no doubt winning the hatred of the other Survivors.

Something I want to encourage in Boards Survivor II is audience participation. For this reason, there will be an Audience Challenge for the non-Survivors. To motivate you to complete this task the winner shall received a CD-WOW voucher, of some value that I WILL DETERMINE at a later time. The rules for the Audience Challenge are the same as for the Immunity Challenges - the first person to post the solution in THIS THREAD will win the voucher. The Survivors may also participate in the Audience Challenge. Should a Survivor win both Immunity Challenges AND the Audience Challenge they will be crowned Challenge-Master™, a title that will earn them nothing.

I broke my bollocks on cooker, because while it was the first thing I tried once I got pressure, I missed the image and so kept looking...I was searching for feckin transmitters, transducers, inhibitors etc til I decided to try cooker once more! Cheers anyway!

Once again Pighead you've cut straight to the core of me. Unfortunatly there is no smiley depicting a single tear wept in happiness so I can only express my gratitude in the form of 'positive thoughts'.

I actually spent 2 hours the other day running through every possibility... i found the exact copy of the first image but the second one pops up in a few places, but i cant find one that matches the watermark... all the ones ive found have a 2001 copyright
