    Rob 'n' Zoopsie [moderne, belgium]
    Barry Donovan [electric city, dublin]

And now to, *cough*, our first international guest at Boxed..

Whether targetting one genre (electro, acid house) or mixing it up with an array of electronic styles, Rob & Zoopsie's sets always deliver on rocking, catchy tunes and oodles of atmosphere.

Having met ten years ago at an underground rave, Rob (the male half aka Dublo) and Zoopsie (the better half) formed a unique alliance built on a love of the pioneering electronic pop of Visage, New Order, The Human League and Depeche Mode and the industrial sounds of Front 242 and Belgian techno.

The result of these influences is a quick-fire hot mix of tough yet thoroughly girl-friendly techno-funk which takes in hi-NRG electro, dark pop, new wave and Italo-disco.

The duo have also cut their teeth in the production game with two EPs under their Revolving Eyes moniker, several as electro-punk outfit Tetra Plok and a dubbed out disko edit on Diskokaine's Lick the Alphabet EP.
