Hi ... The following video blog is of interest to those of us into outdoor photography -

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5euz5r17mw

Gives a very basic view of the kind of equipment a pro would bring on a field trip ... good basic 10 minute video even for beginners ... of course this guy in it, being a pro, has pro equipment, at pro prices ... the rest of us peasants can always dream!!

Youtube.com has some pretty good content ... could be a sign as to how the future of TV might develop. Lots of felxibility and the idea of needing a TV schedule goes out the window...

Between my brother and my years of retail work, I can put price tags on all of his gear. Its pretty sickening. Then again, its what he does for a living. O.o

I like the diffuser and reflector set he showed ,and the flash.

Sigma lenses are fine, I'd be reluctant to look upon that guy as unbiased ,although I can't say I'm not jealous.
It's a world market and sigma are creeping up on canon.

I enjoyed watching it leinster thanks.

A good explanation of RAW v JPEG ... a subject that often comes up in this forum.

Not soo keen on his guitar style though ... but given the standard of his kit he obviously has a day job that keeps him in money and toys ...

If you see any more of this please post it on this thread ...

Could not agree more ... I have a 20d with Sigma 24-70 F2.4, 12-24mm and my first lens was a Sigma 18-125mm ... you can get pleasing results with them all but the 24-70 is a little noisy ... still I'd love to own a few "L" lenses !!

In particular the 100-400mm L IS zoom our friend Rick is holding in the video blog. Only €1400 !!!
