Galway-specific advice?

    Hi guys. I just moved to Galway a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if anyone knows some good avenues for getting jobs around here.. Sounds vague, but I'm finding the internet is only useful for high-up jobs, newspapers have miniscule job sections (even the Galway Advertiser). I've only seen one 'Staff Wanted' sign in a shop.

    I have quite a lot of labouring experience, I'm good with computers (did two years of a degree and then dropped out) and a little retail (merchandising and some customer service).

    I don't really want to do general labouring again, although I'd do gardening or something a bit different. Not too keen on customer service but retail or admin would be fine. There's a lot of competition for computers and stuff, I know.

    Any advice or anecdotes would be much appreciated. Know any good recruitment agencies? Apologies for length.
