Playing DivX/.avi files on Portable DVD

    I'm thinking of buying this "DivX compatibile" portable DVD player for use while travelling

    What I'm wondering is this - if I have divx-compatible .avi files on my PC at home, can I save them on disc, and then just play them on this?

    yeah just copy it as a data disk and it should work...any time i've done that it worked on a divx compatible player

    no worries if u stick in a cd and a file plays automatically just hit stop and a file explorer screen should appear with all the videos u have on the disk in a list
