    i live in kenya and i have a 6, feet dish on c-band can i put a ku next to the c band on same satellite and get a good signal

    Yes but the further an LNBF is from the focal point, the lower the signal. It's usually advised to put the Ku at prime focus and the C-band offset. Ideally you could cut the scalar ring to keep the offset distance small - see attached pic.

    If it is an open mesh dish for C band the holes may be too big for Ku Band to work.

    The other way round (C on a Ku dish) is no problem.
