    Has anyone used SatelliteTVtoPC.com*, or can they recommend similar?

    *has the smell of a scam IMO!

    It sounds like it is a placeshifting service.

    They take the free to air satellite signal, run it through a tv-tuner type card and relay the feed via their software to your PC.

    You will, however, take note that the links to their privacy policy and their legal stuff are not active. Start the alarm bells. Also, the only contact details they have is an e-mail address.

    For an alternative, try channelchooser.com (Warning: this link is not work safe).

    I don't even think its that much , most of those sites only link to stations that have a current web stream....
