Hidden folders on NTFS drive under 10.4.7

    I have an external 500gig drive connected to my MBP but 2 folders are missing when i boot into OSx. They appear under windows fine, i have scanned the drives under windows and all seems to be fine anyone have any suggestions?

    Btw the folders are not setup as hidded folders under windows

    Last I remembered, OSX couldn't read NTFS... what'd I miss?

    It can read NTFS but not write to it

    What are the folders called ? Are they something like ".trashes" ? Folders like this won't show in Finder. Can you list the folders in terminal ?

    Hmm mighty strange copyied on some files a while ago and now the 2 "hidden" folders have appeared. Btw they didnt have any unusual names. Might strange
