Odd.. I didnt type it wrong, they are zeros btw not o's. I picked up the sendit voucher at an anime convention called, funnily enough, tomo daichi. A bunch of sendit.com guys where there and they gave me a slip with those instructions on it, same with the adv guys.

I got a reply with a voucher but the code number said it already been used and they havent replied to my query as to why it wouldnt work

I have had similair problems to. I have contacted sendit and told them that my voucher code was not working so I will see what they say.

It's possible that they haven't sent some of the vouchers is because they're having some trouble with generating valid codes so some have used their code, some haven't been able and most haven't been sent one. Just a thought.

Thanks to randomchild for the original posting, I just used my code with no problems, picked up manan de sources for 89p and Aileen - The Life and Death of a Serial Killer for £5.89. Great stuff. Have those of having problem already registered with sendit before trying these vouchers?

Good question - I registered and ordered using the voucher all in the one go. Order went through fine...

How about the people who are having problems - were you already registered?

Maybe they are getting flooded with requests and are putting the brakes on??

I'm registered with Sendit but I sent two emails, one from an address that wasn't registered. I didn't register from it at the time, either. No reply yet to either address.

hmm im still having problems...i was already registered with them when i tried to use the voucher. htey havent responded to my query email. only other thing i was thinking is that the item i was trying to buy was worth less than £5 so maybe it wont work then...

Just got an e-mail from them saying that the offer has been cancelled due to people abusing it however they will cross reference the e-mails against a list of people were at the event so that people who deserved a voucher won't miss out.

I guess thats fair enough, its on a couple of UK forums now such as cdanddvdbargains.com and avforums.com as well so imagine they got swamped with requests.

On a happier note they sent me a new code this morning which worked! I am registered with sendit and have done a good few orders through them in the past so thankfully the gods smiled favourably on me for this one

This Sendit.com code was a part of a special promotion for the Tomo-Dachi 2006 event's attendee's and them only.

However people that didn't attende and tried to abuse this code like most of you lot weren't able to get in on the offer.

This sort of abuse or ignorance is digusting and only further serves to damage future promotions. Please consider such things in future.
