So I'm thinking about getting a rowing machine. Obviously I want a concept II, but that is prohibitively expensive. Can anyone recomend a good affodable rowing machine? It has be be a pully and air resistence type?

Has anyone used V-fit? with good or bad results?

Any advice or info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Peace

    Heya Pearse,

i would suggest you try contacting some local gyms, see if they will be replacing any of their old stock of rowing machines. A few friends of mine have picked up a lot of equipment this way. You can get top notch stuff with just a little cosmetic damage to it for way below the market price.

I have used various rowing machines...the only one i ever really liked was the Concept II , then again, maybe Transform or Mickk can give you ideas for some other makes that might be close to it.

Good God man! Stop dragging up threads from the depths of beyond all about the same topic :(

Refer to them fair enough - but surely there's no need to drag every "rowing machine" thread up from their grave?
