I'm just focusing on Roscommon today.

The first race is a Maiden. I usually avoid these races like the plague, but both Dimenticata and Array of Stars are worth looking at. I'm a sucker for the Weld Smullen combination, but I fancy Dimenticata more. Prendergast won this race last year with a 2 yr old and he'll be looking to do the same again.
    2nd @ 11/8

6.30 I would be going with Sling Back but it has a major hike in the weights so I'm going to look elsewhere. No Frontier looks a solid e/w bet, currently trading at 9/1. Consistent enough form as of late, and really should be in the placings today. Going and trip is not a problem for it. Anything less than third and I would be disappointed. nowhere

The 7.00 race is an absolute cracker and it really is a tough one to call. This is the time of year when Kalderon comes good. Bush Maiden and Royal Intrigue cannot be ignored either. Then you have Albertini who is untested over this trip, but has good solid form and came third in a listed race last time out. It's tough, and it will be worth seeing where the money is going for this one. Favortism is for Royal Intrigue, and I'll be interested to see what the betting is like on Albertini beforehand. won @ 7/1

The 7.30 race is alot easier to pick. I can't see Davenport Democrat being beaten here today (how many times have I said this and had to eat my hat?). Bonne Noel's is the big danger, and these two should be the first two home. won @ 11/8

In the 8.00, Tusa and Fear, Noend and Lace Your Boots will be the three battling for the win. This race will be between the three of these. Lace Your Boots is untested over this distance and going, but has the brilliant McCoy on board. Tusa An Fear did well last time out in Tipperary over this distance and similar going. This is McNamara's first time riding Noend. Out of the three, I'd be siding with Tusa An Fear to win, Lace Your Boots will probably be second, with Noend third.
    nowhere

The 8.30 is between Baikal and Persian Return. Possibly best to do dutching on the both of these.
    Baikal wins @ 4/1

The last race is dodgy as hell, but how can I ignore the Meade and Nina combination?
    Rocket Boy wins at 11/2

I'd love to see the returns to level stakes if you were to back every Nina Carberry & Katie Walsh mount in bumpers. It always seems to be one of them on the winner.
