House of FF councillor is burgled

    Seriously this made the RTE news site, when I was burgled I didnt even make the local rag...Why because he is a councillor does it make an inch of difference, wouldnt even be worthy of national news if he was TD imo
    Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary at the home of a Fianna Fáil County Councillor in Moville, Co Donegal, early this morning.

    Fianna Fáil county councillor Marian McDonald was threatened by a man at 12.40am.

    Gardaí say the burglar was five foot two inches in height, was wearing denim jeans and a navy hoodie top.

    He left the scene on foot and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at 074-9382002.

    Could it be that apparently the "burglar" threatened the councellor with a weapon with reference to a contentious vote that was coming up in the future..????

    Seems a bit more than an ordinary burglary to moi
