    Hey All,

I've just finished putting together a VERY basic introduction to Stability Ball training with focus on applying Isometric Tension to the core muscles of the abs, obliques and back through all the techniques.

It's got some basic introductory stuff, explaining some aspects of Stability Ball Training, Isometric etc. It also has diagrams of the msucles groups in each exercise, covering the legs, chest, back and and core.

Finally each exercise has full text instructions as well as animated footage to show the movements.

Keep i mind this is a basic intro to people infamiliar with SB Training, so its not full detailed nor do I go into to any great explanations.

Still I'd appreciate it if people gave it a look over and let me know what they thought of the look and feel of the ebook, its apperance, ease of use etc.

It's going to be used to promote my upcomig website so your input will be really valuable.

    You can download it here

Obviously any questions, comments, suggestions, alterations or even a testemonial or two would be great. Thanks again.

I was thinking about getting one of these as I heard they're the absolute business from the IRFU guy who came round our school - I'll have a look at your ebook and give you my thoughts as an absolute beginner in a bit.

Thanks for that Boru, had a good read of it last night. Haven't got my hands on a stability ball yet but will asap and will follow the workout you described and am looking forward to it.

Although I haven't actually done it yet my initial impression was very positive. It was very well written, easy to understand, very good diagrams etc.. Too often these can be too technical etc. and would almost put you off.

Will post again if I can think of anything else after doing workout.

    Cheers,

    Les

P.S. What size stability ball woould you recommend (I'm 5'10")

    Hey boru and all,
I've been sortof keeping an eye on these pages over the past while to get some tips. I'm interested in stability ball training-tried downloading your ebook and it wouldn't open got an error but that could just be the computer.
Another question, where is the best place to pick up a ball itself-any advantage in buying one online?
I'm 5'11" so is the 65 cm the option for me?

    Hey all,

There's an actual section in the book delaing with the choosing the correct size ball. But if you cna't open it, that aint much good. ;) Basically anyone between 5'8" and 6'2" should use a 65cm ball.

There's no major advantage to getting them online, it will take longer and you have to pay for shipping. I personally use a Giaim Ball, available in Argos, Star Fitness, Melt and a dozen other places. I'm not a big fan of the uber cheap ones. I like to know I'm supported - then again I do crazy stuff on mine.

Make sure it's well inflated and that when sitting on the ball your knees are at a 90 degree angle. You may need to make the ball harder, or higher depending on weight, limb lenght etc. I cover it in more detail in the book.

I'm having a problem with Macs and the book at the moment. If that's the case with you pm your details and I'll send you an alternate version - not as slick lookin but all the info's there as well as all the animated instructions. If its not a mac issue make sure you are netering the password and username correctly. If you still have probs shoot me a pm.

I hope veryone enjoys it. Have fun and keep rolling!
