this is a lil bit pointless as im goin off tonite for two weeks, but, i was looking at the chassis' for the revo2.5&3.3, and also the traxxas 2.5&3.3, and the traxxas is soooooo much nicer!!!! theres no comparison, whats up with the suspension on the revo, it looks a mess!!! i dont get the attraction especially against

    Simple decision

    Ask yourself these questions
    1) Do you want to Bash only??
    or
    2) Do you want to RACE and Bash

Basically the T-Maxx is a Monster truck (Basher)

Where as the Revo is more of a Racer truck but is also excellent at bashing and is probable much stronger when it comes to "Bad landings" etc. than the T-Maxx.

The 3.3 chassis compared to the 2.5 chassis is approx 30mm longer ( to accomadate the 60% increase in power and to help keep the front wheels on the ground

There is absolutey notothing wrong with the Revo Suspension.. ( It is called F1 Type) Just because it is inboard doesnt mean that it wont take the same abuse.;)

The reason they changed the suspension to inbound is to stop bending suspension rods while hammering it around whatever track/field/road/(fill in blanks here), seeing as the suspension aint as open, they wont get hammered and bent as much!!!

I can safely say that I replaced more T-MAXX suspensions than revo's ;)

    T-maxx:
It was the revo of its day, it is the worlds premium rc monster truck, it has won the most awards(7) for its engine and overall performance. It is also the best selling rc car in the world. Its design is 7 years old but it still manages to turn heads.

    Revo:
This is the most advanced monster truck/car to hit the rc market. Its a pendium prosessor on wheels. This was designed to replace the T-maxx. It is a born racer and very fast. I'd love to see a rc car with more enginnering than this thing.

    Verdict:
    T-maxx
    1)cheap
    2)reliable
    3)fast and powerful.
    4)backyard basher

    Revo:
    1)Everything above only better.
2)its is dearer but who cares when you can safetly say "I have a better monster truck than you".

Conclusion: Buy the revo or die:mad::D

I have had 3 T-MAXX's and 2 Revo's so far, an can honestly say the revo out performs the maxx in every way, But still I wouldnt hesitate buying either in the morning!!! (as long as its traxxas, im happy :P )

Next on my list is prolly a Jato, although I might have a MAXX coming my way cheaply soon ;)

Got to get my revo up and running and start bashing again!

Ah yes, I remember you said about that one.
Now's your chance as you are putting the engine mount in.;)
