Is This It?

This song is currently being played at oxegen right this minute,
    sparks the question,

    Is this it?

    Is this all there is?

Is this as good as it gets?

Is this the last chance to show our true colours?

Is this the end of the fun, the fun we will have to remember all our lives?

Is this all that we wanted it to be, all we could imagine having, and all we need?

    Is this our college education,

unsure what to do, with college, lacking interest in keeping going, although @ times it's fantastic.

A terrible song from a terrible band.

Are you a reincarnation of Sandals?

    Keep it civil.

It takes two years in trinity before you can specialise into the civil stream of engineering,

    I don't have that patience...

    Is this it?
Of course not. College is but one of the pieces that make up the jigsaw of life.
    Is this all there is?
    See above.
Is this as good as it gets?
Cliché central here, I'm afraid: you get out what you put in, life is what you make it, etc.
Is this the last chance to show our true colours?
Tricky. Let's just say your true colours change completely at College.
Is this the end of the fun, the fun we will have to remember all our lives?
Fun is such a subjective entity. One ought to spread fun throughout one's life, as much as is possible. Try taking up a hobby like alpaca farming; get a partner in life, if you like; read; spend time doing things you enjoy; live life the way you want to; listen to others' advice (they're usually right).
Is this all that we wanted it to be,
To me, more. To you, I can't say.
    all we could imagine having,
    I should hope not.
    and all we need?
We need a lot more than a college education. Think about it...
    Is this our college education,
    Yes, yes it is.

It's only four years of your life. Always, always, attempt to finish what you've started. It may turn out that you're glad you did.

In the words of Deacon Blue and Faith No More - This is it.

It's ok though. We gotta hold on to what we got, it doesn't make a difference if we make it or not. We've got each other and that's a lot for hope. We'll give it a shot. We're half way there.

Take my hand, we'll make it I swear.

That song is so bad. The hair, the 80's guitar effects, the cheesy modulation at the end..ugh. My sister had the single and I heard it over and over and over... I want to claw out that part of my brain.

Aye, it's great to hammer round to when blinded by the whisky demons
    Also:
AWWWWW, bless. What do you expect? an education or a ****ing spiritual journey? Do the damn two years if you actually want to do civil engineering. Otherwise get a job shovelling gravel for a living and turn into a bitter and resentful alcoholic (you'll become one of these anyway but you'll be more qualified and employable and have a big tv). I think the investment may be worth it.
