ITV 3 Problem..

    Anyone else having trouble with ITV3? I have a Strong 6355 and every other channel on Astra2 / Eurobird is fine as are the ones on Hotbrid and Astra 1.

    ITV3 is just stuck on a picture of some game show, has been since sometime yesterday.

    Anyone able to confirm this is happening elsewhere?

    Same here - game show picture - UTV is also just black for me.

    Is this the issue?

    Sky Digital: New PID for ITV 1 Ulster TV: PID:2350/2351 English SID:10230 (10906.00MHz, pol.V SR:22000 FEC:5/6 - Clear).

    Sky Digital: New PID for ITV 3: PID:2356/2357 English,2358 nar SID:10260 (10906.00MHz, pol.V SR:22000 FEC:5/6 - Clear).

    Yes, if PID's were changed, that would cause the channels to stop working.

    Depending on the box, you should be able to manually edit the PID details of the channels. Otherwise delete them, and rescan the frequency which may be handier.

    i had this problem too, but it sorted it self out after i changed channels a few times..
    hope you get it sorted out!!!!:)

    Also affected Men & Motors on my fta box - rescan sorted it

    Just wondering, why do broadcasters change their PID's for satellite channels from time to time?

    i turned on the receiver Monday morning (partying at oxegen all weekend) and left it on ITV3 for a while as I made breakfast. It sorted itself out.

    Problem solved :)
