Check these out, pretty much all are shot for adverts...some amazing photography and photoshopping gone into them. (And yes...a lot are gone past photography and into illustration)

Hope some of you like 'em!

    :)

    Love that one too!

It's unreal that he did all those...

You'd wonder how he did a lot of them!

I would imagine that one is a lot of layers using saturation, dodge and lighting effects...

The satisfaction of having that level of quality in your back pocket must be immense.

Such a fantastic marriage of Photography/Digital Art...

Those are amazing and ought to be in a coffee table book - I really loved the first one (smoking tip) also the pier one - theres some great humour in those too.

Cant help thinking that a lot of the digital art ones are using stock photographs - but the '3 art gallery portraits' in the middle are just excellent. Hes not just good at photoshop - he seems to be a first class photographer too. Thanks for posting the link.

yep, annoyingly, I think it sounds like a fab idea but there possibly are a few who might kick up a stink.

But... surely we can be in a community where you understand that even though you don't like something, you have to accept that it's part of the process for an awful lot of people and you can't expect everyone else to refrain because they consider themselves 'purists'...

I loved looking through those pictures. There were so many that stopped me scanning and made me look for a few minutes at them and how screwed up he made the world look ;) It's amazing when there's something that so many people use, mostly badly, and someone comes along that has seriously got it sussed and produces stuff like this. Fantastic.

seriously impressive stuff! my photoshop skills are better than my photography skills (but both are still very poor). A digital manipulation challenge would be nice tho.

Well,it's a different part of photography, kinda like you got your sports photographers, landscape photographers, etc etc.
